This evening we have the complex of M Erythraeum, Margaritifer S & Aurorae S dominating the southern hemisphere of the disk. M Acidalium, Niliacus L/ Nilokeras to north with S Sabaeus/S Meridiani on the preceding limb. Southern limb bright and npc present along northern limb. Ganges "canal" visible in best moments, but markings appear subdued, in spite of fairly good seeing. Narrow but fairly definite dark collar to npc noted later in the observation. P-limb appears brighter than f-limb by end session, when Solis L was becoming visible over the latter.
