(Note) : Poor seeing conditions. Syrtis Major on the following limb and quite dark. No apparent north polar hood, but there was a bright area north of Syrtis Major on the following limb as seen with a 25W (red) filter. Marking near the north limb could be Utopia. Mare Cimmerium/Mare Tyrrhenum showed limited detail. Nice dark markings near the Aussona region to the south and close to the terminator. Area around south polar cap showed no markings and appeared clear for the first time this season.
