Possible dust cloud in Noachis with a bright streak through to Argyre.  Bright spot in red and green light near evening limb in Noachis with bright streak to west Noachis.  Also, a smaller bright spot in Argyre in red light.  This could be a dust cloud.

Observing on 2001 Nov 26 at 2150 ~2210 UT CM 11 ~15.9 degrees (12.5-inch f/7) nearly perfect seeing.

Just uploaded the drawing I just made.  Look at the following drawings for a dust cloud check in files at:

Subject: No dust clouds

Hellas has been very bright for the past week and dust appeared likely.  However, it appears that it is just dense clouds with some dust component over Hellas and Argyre.

Deucalionis Regio has been darker than "normal" for over a week now.  Hellas has been unusually bright without the usual darkening that is seen during this season. Also, Pandora Fretum has been very dark, usually dark.  For the past week there has been a bright yellowish oval or streak in Hellas and a cloud or dense haze over the area, especially when Hellas is near the evening limb.

This evening, 2001 Nov 29 at 2240 ~2307 UT (CM 353.6 ~0 degrees) I saw a bright cloud of dense ground fog in Edom (crater Schiaparelli) .  It was brighter than the usual cloud I have seen in  that crater before.

Meteorology seems to be picking up in frequency and intensity.
