I was hoping
for some pre-front conditions the night these were taken.
However, it
was not to be. Seeing was quite poor,
with Mars being little more than a blob visually.
Bored from
the lack of observing time the gods have given me lately, I processed these
anyhow. Some detail can be seen despite the weather conditions. Hope they are useful. At least they gave me
pleasure!

Slightly better seeing conditions for this image
set. Was able to get an IR done w/2 sec
exposures w/ the HX-5. With video, it
is 1/60 sec. Hmmm.
