 No, I hadn't received this news. Interesting development! I would be happy to send you an observation from here, but must wait for our weather to improve. Also, Noachis will be better placed for me in a couple of days - I will attempt to image something soon.

@ . . . . . . . I apologize for the problems that you have had in locating some of my images. From now on they will be forwarded to both addresses as you have indicated.

 

 Please find attached the images from the 4th July which you are missing. Let me know if there are any others which you need resent.

 

 I observed Mars briefly on the 3rd, and again on the 14th November, but did not find a significant brightening at or around Noachis. As you have mentioned, Hellas does show a small brightening (see attached image), but only just so. I too imaged before nightfall to obtain mine on the 14th.; conditions were very average.

 

Yes, the weather here is indeed becoming warmer, but this is our rainy season too! We can, and often do experience all four seasons in the one day.

   This generally makes for poor seeing for taking Mars images, but I will persevere.
