Note:
Observation made in a lull in the rainy season we are sufferring since 9 June. M Sirenum is explicit, and a new marking in Daedalia (near Arexes) is visible following Phasis.
Notable is the morning limb cloud at Eridania or Ausonia. The white cloud at the Tharsis ridge is fairly visible. Olympus Mons is not explicit.
The spc shows clearly a rift as suggested in http://homepage3.nifty.com/~cmohk/coming2003/07.html
Instrument:
Use is made of an f /7.7 Newtonian extended to f /50 having a 25 cm speculum equipped with an ST-5C (at -5゚C).
