Letters to the Editor

@ . . . . Thanks for your email and attached file, which I have just downloaded early this morning and will look at offline. I look forward to the CMO.
I wrote something about our observations of the polar cyclone in a previous BAA Circular, but I believe the phenomenon was best seen on the morning side, and this was at a time when that region was best presented to your longitudes. There are a few other observations since then. Older apparitions certainly showed the same phenomenon, and this may well be worth investigating more deeply.
I hope you will finish your 1997 memoir. My dust storm memoir, a rather heavy item, is in the post to you. I hope you will enjoy it; it contains three of your drawings at least. I am looking forward to getting your 1999 drawings. I am still receiving current work from Italy and the USA, which agrees in showing a variable SPC, and no obvious activity on the dust storm front.
I will not write more here, as I must go to bed!
