The annual variation in the number of solar active phenomena which took place between 11th May 1992 through the end of 2000 (for flares, end of 2001) are plotted below. "Active phenomena" includes flares, surges, filament disappearances, and filament activations. The data can also be viewed in Microsoft Excel format.
