Subject: Mars August 5, 6, and 10
Dear Masami, Masatsugu, and Daniel,
I attach here two drawings from August 5
and August 6,
and a ToUCam image made last night the 10th of
August. I will contribute also a drawing from the last date when I
have scanned it.
The moonson season is now active
in Tucson and
the nightly weather frequently cloudy from giant Cumulonimbus cells that remain
to the morning hours. A few nights have been lost to this. Unfortunately, as
during July 12-Aug 3, I will be away from home for the period 11-19th of August
and do not expect to make any Mars studies. This time I will perform IR
spectroscopy of Mercury with the IRTF which will be an interesting experience.

may I kindly ask you if it is possible for you to send the CMO to my US
address from now on? I have been greatly missing the issues since I moved here.
