20030727 - the best Italian image
Dear all,
I'm very proud to show you the best Italian image for Mars
so far! We have no "monster" scope and Mars is always low above
horizon (max 33°),
nonetheless we are trying to image it in the best way possible. This image was
taken in mountain (1500 ms. above sea level) with excellent transparency and
good seeing through 2 different scopes: a Celestron
C9.25 for IR imaging (F. Zanotti)
and an Intes MN76 for color imaging (P. Baldoni). I just managed sinchronization
and processed raw files.

Dear all,
Here my latest Mars image with fair seeing and transparency.
The dark collar surrounding the SPC seems to be vanishing.
