Subject: What to do on a rainy day.....
Dear Masatsugu
The weather has been poor here for a week now...what to do
but reprocess old data?? I added virtually
all of the frames taken for my image
of the 16th & reprocessed to reduce the noise. This time I
think that I've indicated the correct crater for Huygens. Please replace the
one on your web page with the attached version when possible.

Re: RE:Preliminary image
from this morning 31st
Dear Masatsugu
I have attached here the final
version of my images for the 31st July UT. One set has been overlayed with a grid for ease of identification of features.
This has been produced by an excellent method as described by Mr Tim Wilson. Is this of use to you?
I do watch Mars visually every imaging session for a short
time. I believe that the opaque nature of the surface is somewhat obvious as I have
communicated to you previously.
I agree with you that there is certainly much to be gained
from the visual observation of Mars.
Best Regards

Dear Masatsugu
Unfortunately our seeing here has been very poor last 24hrs.
I have attached the best of the images which were taken overnight. I believe
that it does confirm your note from this morning of the expansion of airborne
dust. As this is a poor image, please keep it for your reference only.

Dear Richard
I'm afraid that poor seeing overnight has meant a poor
result from me. My best attempt is attached for your records. The image at
least seems to correlate well with one taken by Mr Akutsu
at about the same LCM.
