Attached is a recent image of Mars taken on the 24th.

I have taken another last eve, which shows Solis Lacus near the centre (CM115). Will process and forward in the next day or so.

Thank you for your informative updates.

I have been taking images of Mars from Australia over the last few months. I live in the Northern part of Australia (Darwin), where Mars culminates nearly directly overhead. Also, unlike my colleague in Melbourne (Maurice Valimberti), I am blessed with clear skies nearly every night.

I would be happy to send some of my images - here is a sample image. I still need to include all the technical data, which I will do tonight.
