Hi All,

     I have attached some Mars images from 25 December. Some dust clouds remain in eastern Hellas, Ausonia and southern Tyrrhenum.

           ST9XE CCD Camera  Eyepiece Projection @ f/59

                       Integration Times: RRGB Images

 RED (RG610 Red Filter, 610-1100nm: NO IR Rejection)   0.18s 43 images

 GREEN (CFW8C, 531nm central; BWHM 86nm)   0.70s 2-4 images

 BLUE (CFW8C, 450nm central, BWHM 116nm)   2.80s 4 images

             Images bias,flat and dark corrected.

 

Seeing  poor,  (3-4 Pickering); pre cold front . Transparency = 4m . 

Wind SW-W 2-7 kts. Altitude = 62-59 degrees. Moderate dew.

 

Dust clouds in eastern Hellas and Ausonia, extending north across Tyrrhenum. Hadriacum not visible but Alpheus and Zea Lacus prominent. Hellespontus and Yaonis are now distinct. Libya bright.

 GREEN (CFW8C, 531nm central; BWHM 86nm)   0.72s 3-4 images

 BLUE (CFW8C, 450nm central, BWHM 116nm)   2.80-2.90s 4-5 images

             Images bias,flat and dark corrected.

 

Seeing  fair,  (4-7 Pickering); post cold front . Transparency = 4-4.5m . 

Wind N 5-21 kts. Altitude = 66-57 degrees. No dew.

 

Hadriacum now becoming visible. Zea Lacus prominent. North polar hood weak. Bright PM limb arc.

 GREEN (CFW8C, 531nm central; BWHM 86nm)   0.67s 4 images

 BLUE (CFW8C, 450nm central, BWHM 116nm)   2.80s 4-8 images

             Images bias,flat and dark corrected.

 

Seeing  good,  (7-8 Pickering). Transparency = 3-4.5m with frequent high cirrus bands.  Wind E 4-7 kts. Altitude = 68-67 degrees. No dew.

 

Cloud streaks in Elysium and Zephyria. Bright PM limb arc. NP Hood prominent. Trivium-Cerberus small but dark. Hyblaeus Extension dark on N. limb.

             Images bias,flat and dark corrected.

 

Seeing  excellent,  (8-9 Pickering). Transparency = 5-2m with frequent high cirrus bands and cumulus. Wind steady NNE 6-12 kts. Altitude = 68-67 degrees. No dew.

 

NP Hood prominent. Cloud streaks in Zephyria and  Memnonia. Bright PM limb arc. Trivium-Cerberus dark near AM limb. Simois broad. Dark streak again noted along N. border of Cimmerium.
