@ . . . . . . . I want to thank all of you to express your feelings about the World Trade Center tragedy and the people that are suffering. Just to let you know that things around here are trying to get back to normal. Earlier today, the smell was very bad at work. The wind was blowing from the west from the direction where the Twin Towers once stood. The smoke or rather the ashes I should say, had spread eastward of the city most of the day where I was.

There are few workers at my place that they know people were in the area of the attack. They did not know there was a terrorists attack until sometimes after the second plane hits one of the two towers. Unfortunately, some people are missing. One said "it looks like a war!" Other said, "I had my office there on the 50th floor and it is gone." It is really scary to hear their stories like that. I believe we will never know how many people have died in that disaster. New York and its skyline will never be the same!

Anyway, to get my mind of this, I did some CCD imaging of Mars that evening. The seeing was pretty good. After that, I went inside and it hit me with anger again.

Here are my latest images of Mars on Sept. 13th, 2001. Did you receive my 9-11-2001 images? One observer said it was defected.
