@. . . . . . Thank you, I am
well. Here is it rainy too. So I must wait for better weather conditions. Sometimes Mars
was flickering, so much bad seeing was on. I never had seen before Mars
flickering with so much apparent diameter.
I use my 10cm
refractor like anytime. It's a ZEISS AS 100/1000 (mm) (f/10) with reduced secondary spectrum. It has a very sharp focal
image, but a little bit blue color error. Only very expansive apochromatic
lenses are better. Unfortunately 100mm aperture is quiet to less for higher
resolute planetary images. I also use a filter flip mirror for faster focusing
and centering the image on the ccd chip.
Thank you for
your kindly interest. I receive your cmo issues regularly without problems.
"Weil" is old German and comes from the roman
"ville" and means small town. Weil der Stadt was "Freie
Reichsstadt" (
In the attached
image you see my telescope with a guiding scope, which has mounted a small
guiding ccd camera. The black one is the imaging
camera with the filter flipper in focal alignment.
With best wishes
