Today I had mounted my telescope on my new
balcony. Unfortunately my refractor is to long and the balcony to tight, so I
will have problems to watch objects at low latitudes (like Mars in this
apparition). I have no place between the eyepiece and the wall behind, also my
camera. At higher latitudes (> -10 degrees) it will go right, also at the
directions ESE or WSW but not in near of the meridian. I have planned to effort
a Maksutov-Cassegrain, this will solve this problems with more aperture in the
same time.
