Hi all,

My only output this morning was this IR of Mars where I had to be selective with the data.

There is a strong Jetstream currently over Namibia, and may have been a contributing factor to the poor seeing.

A pity as the view covers the Tharsis region, and I was interested to check for any sign of Arsia Mons cloud.

Mare Sirenum is towards upper right, with Solis Lacus just coming into view at upper left. Olympus Mons may just be made out near lower centre.

Excellent conditions from home early this morning allowed a detailed image of Saturn to be obtained despite the low altitude.

Dione is visible just above the rings. A wonderful view through the eyepiece was also enjoyed!

Hi all,

The good conditions I had for Saturn continued as I moved onto Mars, giving me a nice view looking down on Syrtis Major and Hellas.

The B data was some of the best I have had so far this apparition and I believe there is a hint of cloud in the far north. This also allowed my to try an alternative colour process for the RGB, which I consider to be a bit simpler.
